Iberian ham is the paradigm of the highest quality in the whole of Spanish gastronomy. Its qualities are unique by their presence - black hoof or lightly veined, very thin shank, elongated shape, cut serrano v, yellowish fat and exuded natural moulds-, cutting - intense red color, intramuscular fat very grainy and almost transparent-, aroma - intense and penetrating - and flavor - juicy, round, permanent, slightly salted and with a touch candy-have made him deserving of universal fame. It is a very limited and scarce product which is subject, as such, which resemble the original in anything.
Mountain Manor Bellota ham comes from pure Iberian pigs fed on acorns. In our line of sacrifice, and by the observers of the D.O. "Dehesa de Extremadura" or D.C. AECERIBER, they are marked with an indelible seal plastic red and white numbering. At the same time, we mark them with another seal of a different color for each vintage and which is associated with all the traceability of the piece (farm of origin, replenishment at Acorn, weight in channel, date of profiling, dates of stay in drying houses and wineries...). We always make them traditional form and its cure lasts between 30 and 40 months period.
The pieces have a weight ranging from 6.0 to 8, 5kg. Occur with rope tying of double stranded - color yellow and green - which are the corporate colors, double seal and two bands (one of the "Dehesa de Extremadura" D.O. and another of Señorio de Montanera). Both bands printed on plastic 300 microns and grease. Hams are wrapped in gift paper with printed corporate image, mesh, mesh sack green embossed and, when necessary, in individual gift box. We can slicing our hams, at the customer's request.
